Namaste! A most comprehensive and holistic science, Ayurveda, is universally applicable to every culture. As an Indian living in America, my deepest desire is to help people incorporate simple, yet profound Ayurvedic principles which include proper nutrition, yoga and meditation for balancing a hectic-paced and busy western life. Peace, bliss and perfect health is our divine birthright. When our choices are aligned with laws of Nature, we naturally experience joy and bliss. Ayurveda has offered me that wisdom and it is my honor to share that wisdom with my clients.

About Aparna:
I grew up in India where life was slower and food was fresh. In fact, we grew nearly everything we ate. I have lived in the US for 18 years now and have incorporated much of my lifestyle habits from India into my busy life as a single mother and small business owner. The results are undeniable. I am healthy, radiate an inner joy and love my life. Meditation, spending time in silence, reading, exercising, hula hooping, eating healthy foods continue to shower bliss into my life.
Before relocating to Santa Barbara, I was the main chef at the Chopra Center for Well-Being in Carlsbad, Ca. and catered for their Perfect Health, Soul of Healing and Yoga retreats. I also taught Ayurvedic cooking classes and worked as a part-time chef at the prestigious Chopra Center for Living in Rancho Santa Fe. My panchakarma training is from New World Ayurveda with Dr. Paul Dugliss.
Today, I continue my affiliation with the Chopra Center as their Culinary Consultant to resort chefs around the US and Europe. While I am not working with clients, I am hula hooping at the beach or at the farmer's market. |
